OVERVIEW
Electric Zoo (EZoo) is a renowned electronic music festival that takes place annually in New York City. It is one of the largest and most popular EDM festivals in the United States. Founded in 2009, Electric Zoo showcases a diverse lineup of electronic music artists across various sub-genres, including house, techno, trance, dubstep, and more. The festival features multiple stages and immersive production, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere for attendees.EZoo will take on September 1 to September 3 at Randall’s Island Park in New York City. Tickets
- The single-day and 3-day General Admissions, VIP, and Platinum tickets can be purchased online.
- The Festival Box Office is located at Icahn Stadium & West Gates and opens at 12 pm on Saturday and Sunday, August 31st and September 1st.

Open Time
- Doors open at 3 PM on September 1st (Friday) and 1 PM on September 2nd and 3rd (Saturday and Sunday). A long line is expected on Day 1, so early arrival, which is 2-3 hours before the opening time is recommended.
Wristband
- The wristband is your exclusive access pass to Electric Zoo. Ensure that you wear your wristband comfortably on your right wrist when you arrive. You will need to scan your wristband at the entrance to gain access to the festival grounds.
- Please remember NOT to wear your wristband until the day of the festival. Once the wristband is fastened, it locks instantly and cannot be removed.
- If you purchased your festival passes prior to August 18th, your wristband will be shipped to the address you provided during checkout. Upon receiving your wristband, simply activate it and Top-Up to prepare for Electric Zoo.
- For those who order festival passes on, or after August 18th, you can exchange your e-ticket for a wristband at the Will Call desk located near the festival entrance. To collect your wristband at Will Call, please bring your printed purchase confirmation with you.
Cashless
- EZoo is 100% cashless. You can link your bank account or credit card to your festival wristband with Billfold’s cashless payments.
- There will be no worries about reloading your wristband or requesting a refund or unspent cash. There will also be no additional fees besides the cost of the item + sales tax + optional tip.
- Food, beverage, merchandise, and anything that can be purchased on-site must be purchased using your festival wristband. Instant transactions are provided at all vendor stalls, bars, and merch stands.
Lockers with USB ports
- Lockers can be purchased as an add-on to your Electric Zoo pass and will remain available for purchase until the festival. It's important to note that on-site lockers will have limited availability and higher rates. We highly recommend purchasing your locker in advance.
- Lockers will be accessible from Friday to Sunday, providing you with a convenient storage solution. Each locker is equipped with a USB port and includes your choice of cord to fit your cell phones, tablets, or digital cameras. This ensures that you can stay charged and connected throughout the entire weekend.

There will be multiple afterparties for EZoo. The schedules for this year’s after-parties have not been announced yet. The following are the 2022 EZoo after-parties for your reference. The schedule is usually announced at the beginning of August each year.

🥺 TRAVEL GUIDE
The Electric Zoo festival grounds are located on Randall's Island, in the upper east side of the region, just across the Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) bridge east of East Harlem.There is no parking available on Randall’s Island this year. Walk, take the ferry, be dropped off, or use public transportation to get to the Zoo are better choices. There is no overnight parking and no tailgating allowed on Randall’s Island.
Ferry pass: the easiest way to get to EZoo.
- Price: $30 for a 1-day roundtrip and $49.99 for 3-day roundtrip before service fee. It can only be purchased online.
- The East 35th Street Ferry Landing, located at the intersection of East 35th Street and FDR Drive, is the designated departure and return point for the ferry service throughout the entire weekend.
- The ferry service operates continuously starting at 2:30 pm on Friday, September 2nd, and commences at 12:30 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. The ferries run until 30 minutes after the festival concludes.
- With departures scheduled every 30 minutes, the ferry provides swift transportation to Randall's Island, completing the journey in just 20 minutes. As you traverse the scenic East River route, you will be treated to breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline.
Brooklyn Shuttle:
- Price: $30 for a 1-day roundtrip and $49.99 for 3-day roundtrip before service fee. It can only be purchased online.
- Shuttle services depart from and return to 61 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11249, which is conveniently located just a short walk away from Superior Ingredients.
- The shuttles operate consistently throughout the day. Service begins at 2:00 pm on Friday, September 1st, and starts at 12:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The shuttles continue to run until 30 minutes after the festival concludes.
Subway & Bus:
- Transportation to Electric Zoo has been made convenient through the partnership with MTA. To get to the festival via Subway/MTA Buses, follow the steps:
- Take the MTA 4 Train, MTA 5 Train, or MTA 6 Train subway to the 125th Street Stop. The fare is $2.75 for a one-way trip, payable with your contactless credit/debit card or mobile wallet. If you use a MetroCard, please note that the $1.00 new card fee is not included.
- Then, you have two options: Take the X80 Express Bus from 125th Street / Lexington Avenue to Randall's Island Park. The roundtrip fare is $6.75 ($4.00 if using contactless payment or MetroCard after riding the subway). Please remember that contactless payment or a pay-per-ride/cash value MetroCard is required for the X80 bus. Unlimited time-based MetroCard (weekly/monthly/etc.) are not accepted. The X80 service begins at 1:30 PM on Friday and 11:30 AM on Saturday and Sunday, with buses running approximately every 10 minutes. Or just walk by following 125th St. East and crossing the RFK Bridge.
- This transportation option provides a straightforward route for you to reach Electric Zoo and ensures a smooth travel experience.
Walking/Biking:
- You have the option to access Randall's Island Park by walking across the footbridge from E. 103rd St. in Manhattan. The walk from the Manhattan side of the footbridge to the festival entrance typically takes around 20-25 minutes.
- Another pedestrian route is crossing the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge, which provides access from Manhattan (approximately 15 minutes), Queens (approximately 30 minutes), or the Bronx (approximately 15 minutes).
- Please note that bicycles are not permitted on the ferry or buses. If you are arriving by bike, designated bike parking is available south of the RFK Bridge Pedestrian Walkway, near the Ferry Landing on Randall's Island. Look for signs from the main festival entrance to locate the bike parking area.
Pickup/drop-offs: There will be dedicated areas for drop-offs and pick-ups. The locations and more information will be announced as the festival approaches.
